The Kindy children are so excited about their Winter Festival. Everyone is looking forward to having their lantern lit and walking with it around our school in the company of their parents. The lantern walk will get underway at 5.30pm Friday (today).
Wednesday 1st July is the last day of Term 3, if the weather permits, we will be going on a whole school bush walk in the area behind the school. This activity will bring the school term to its end.
The children have had a fabulous term together and I thank you for all your support throughout the term.
Enjoy a warm and restful break and see everyone back for Term 3.
Francine and Isabella

Class 1/2
Our Main Lesson, World Stories, has been gathering momentum, through Scotland, China and Japan. The stories have been entertaining, often amusing and sometimes sad. Fearsome sea monsters and magic pots that double every item that can be placed inside it. Our daily adventures have been a highlight of the term.
Thank you to our families for joining us and helping to make Winter Festival such a success. The lanterns are a true reflection of each unique child and to be treasured equally. I was so proud of our children for the reverence and peace they brought to the evening.
Enjoy a restful holiday and thank you for your continued support this term.
Warmly,
Kath

Class 3/4
We have continued to explore winter folktales, make paper snowflakes, paint in blue ink and write winter poems in the lead up to the Winter Spiral Festival. Breathtakingly sweet. It has been a highly productive and beautiful term.
Have a wonderful winter holiday with your children.
Jeneva

Class 5/6
Thank you everyone for coming to Winter’s Festival. Despite the rain, we managed to rearrange our plans. The children went with the flow and although it was different from past years, there was much beauty in it. I loved seeing everyone walk the spiral holding their lanterns.
I am so extremely proud of Class 6 with their Firesticks choreography. We practiced a lot and the practiced paid off. They were focused, graceful and beautiful.
Thank you for a lovely term. May everyone have a safe and relaxing holiday and see you in Term 3.
Warmly,
Julie
